"text": "After being on the waitlist for nearly two years, I finally got the call that a space had opened up at Sarah House for my son. The timing couldn't have been more perfect. His previous family daycare was closing, and we needed somewhere new.\n\nAdmittedly, I was skeptical at first. My son had loved his previous daycare, which had a smaller, more personal feel, and he struggles with transitions and new environments. Plus, there weren’t many recent or detailed reviews online, and a few older negative ones left me uncertain.\n\nBut out of necessity and hope, we gave Sarah House a chance.\n\nThe transition wasn’t easy. There was some staff turnover in the beginning, and that lack of consistency made it difficult for my son to feel comfortable. He didn’t socialize, wasn’t participating in group activities, and hadn’t built connections with any of the staff. However, things improved significantly after a new program coordinator came in and the team of teachers became more stable. The changes brought structure and predictability, which was exactly what my son needed.\n\nSince then, he has truly thrived. He’s made friends, grown more confident, and developed strong relationships with his teachers. One teacher even noticed his interest in math and would take the time to write out problems for him to solve. That kind of attention and care has meant so much to both of us.\n\nThe staff are dedicated and genuinely care about the children. Now, as my older son graduates from Sarah House and prepares for Kindergarten, I feel incredibly grateful for the strong foundation they helped build during these crucial early years. I’m also happy to say that my younger son will be starting at Sarah House this year.\n\nGreat program, great staff, great community. We’re truly lucky to be part of it.",

One teacher in particular was overly controlling and quite harsh in her words, concerning to think what is said when not in public to these little kids. I would not be comfortable with my child in that daycare.",
