      "text": "If I could give this place zero stars, I absolutely would.\n\nI put my daughter on this daycare’s waitlist six years ago when she was only two years old and paid the $50 fee they require. When she reached kindergarten age, we transferred the spot to my son. He is now in kindergarten, and my daughter is 8 years old and already in Grade 3.\n\nIn SIX YEARS, I have never received a single phone call, email, update, or any form of communication.\n\nRecently, I went in person to ask for my money back, and they refused.\n\nThis is unacceptable and feels completely dishonest. Charging parents money to join a waitlist that takes minutes to add a name to while clearly knowing the list is so long that many families will never be contacted is wrong. Parents are desperate for childcare. We trust businesses like this during stressful times in our lives, and instead we are taken advantage of.\n\nThis feels less like a waitlist and more like a money grab.\n\nI am beyond disappointed and angry. Families deserve transparency, fairness, and basic respect. This place offers none of that.\n\nI would strongly warn other parents to think twice before giving them a single dollar.",

      "text": "The staff was amazing (despite everyone talking behind everyone's back), Yuliana--the manager--is a different story.\nI was a practicum student so I was a firsthand witness in the day to day operations of the daycare from opening to closing.\n\nYuliana yelled unkindly at the children multiple times throughout the day. And, on one occasion even said, she \"can't deal with this right now\" in regards to a child misbehaving during lunch. She had enough sense to walk away from the group to calm down. It was a sight to observe a staff member to say encouraging words both to the child AND Yuliana (a grown women in her thirties).\n\nPlease note, I was picking them up during play normally as a parent would, however, it seemed to be of great concern to her that I will irrovocably stunt the children's growth.There were several occasions where she was insistent that the children not be picked up during play or otherwise as she claimed \"I could dislocate their shoulders\" or cause \"bodily harm\". Also, there was a problem concerning physical sports because she deemed it \"unsafe\" and the children not to engage with the soccer balls or basketball I brought in.\n\nAn inconsistent application of the rule applied to staff and students (not to mention children)...such as, eating slower, eating faster, not being allowed to eat at all.\n\nI am not even sure how this daycare is still operation under Yuliana. Some people shouldn't be allowed in management positions much less children. And, I underline she is a MANAGER that sometimes acts as \"person-who-doesn't-like-children-but-has-no-choice-but-to-work-as-a-earlychildhood-educator-because-thats-what-her-skillsets-allow\".\n\nNot only do I have an issue with her person-to-person (note: every feedback I gave+received was answered with 'okay'...?), but I find her relationship with the children really bizarre.\n\nIf you need more information, don't be afraid to reach out to me via google.",
